20 June 2007: NCT Sale Date Confirmed for 25th August 2007

The NCT Nearly New Sale now has a confirmed date of 25th August 2007 at Harlaw Academy in Aberdeen from 2pm until 4pm.

Unfortunately, the sale scheduled for May had to be cancelled due to a variety of differing reasons. Please accept our apologies for any inconvenience this may have caused.

If you wish to sell items at our sale, please call either one of the sales numbers on Monday 30th July 2007 between 2pm and 7pm only. Numbers are limited and are given on a first come, first served ba

1 Oct 2006: Save Aboyne Maternity (SAM)

Members of the SAM Campaign recently travelled to Edinburgh to hear North East MSPs speak out in support of the vital service that the community maternity units provide. Women need to be supported in their transition into motherhood, and midwives in community maternity units play an essential part. We need to let NHS Grampian know what services we want and how we want them. It is not too late to add your voice of support. Please email Andy.Kerr.msp@scottish.parliament.uk

1 Aug 2006: Change the Branch Name?

We are discussing the possibility of changing the branch name to sound more inclusive of more of the areas covered. Re-naming ourselves as the Aberdeen City and Shire branch also brings us in line with the council areas.

Please let us know your thoughts on this issue.

1 June 2006: Home Births Awareness Session

We are looking into holding an awareness raising session on HomeBirths, for prospective parents with antenatal teachers and hopefully local midwives as well.

In the near future we are hoping to have a Parents-to-be Evening with information from the NCT on what we can offer
