Mums on the Run - 21 March

"Mums on the Run" are an informal team of runners participating in the Brentwood Half Marathon & Fun Run on 21 March.  Check out the "Mums on the Run!" training blog to see how they're preparing for race day.

Did you know that £2 is enough to cover the cost of a phone call to the NCT national Breastfeeding Helpline?  If you've breastfed, are currently breastfeeding, or know someone who has breastfed, you'll understand that having professional and emotional support  available from the NCT is vital.

"Mums on the Run" are trying to raise £150 to help fund the NCT Breastfeeding Helpline (0300 330 0771)...can you help them achieve their target?

Nearly New Sale - Thank You for Your Support

Thanks to our 80+ volunteers for helping out at our 6th March Nearly New Sale.  Your generous donation of your time, energy and enthuasism is always appreciated! And many thanks, of course to the hundreds of local parents who sold and bought thousands of items at the event.  Our Nearly New Sales are the foundation of Brentwood NCT's charity fundraising efforts, helping to support the NCT's activities at both the national and local level.

Returning to Work Soon?

NCT has prepared a series of guides to help you with the professional and personal decisions facing you and your employer as you decide to return to work.

The employers' guide is designed to inform employers and line managers on the legal and social aspects of pregnancy and parenthood.

The parents' guide provides details on legal rights and contains practical tips and advice on how mums can plan the maternity leave process.
