Breastfeeding Support in Lambeth and Wandsworth
The most common reasons that women give up breastfeeding are sore nipples and the feeling that there is not enough milk. These, and other problems can often be overcome by changing the position of the baby at the breast, and it can be really helpful to get some support.

2. Hospital Infant Feeding Advisors
At King’s and St George's you can arrange to see the infant feeding advisers directly: Clare Kedves at King's: 020 3299 4000 Ext 3833, Elizabeth Thompson at St George’s: 020 8725 0199.
St Thomas’ has a Postnatal Breastfeeding Drop-in Support Group for all in-patients on the postnatal ward in the patient sitting room. Monday to Friday 10.00-11.15am facilitated by midwives and health care assistants. 020 7188 5155.

5. Human Milk Bank
Mothers' milk gives all babies the best start in life, but for premature babies this is particularly true, but their mothers cannot always provide for them. Human Milk Banks store donated milk to give premature babies a better start in life. Donors to the milk bank are urgently required.
