Welcome

Run by local parents, we offer support, information and friendship to new parents and parents-to-be in all North West London postcodes (except NW7). We hold two Nearly New sales a year, run a regular Bumps & Babies coffee meeting in NW6, monthly evening socials for expectant parents and are aiming for lots more initiatives to come. **NEW** Bumps and Babies NW4 group @ Gymboree, Brent Cross, Thursdays 1-2pm, We are very excited to announce a new free Bumps and Babies group, set up in conjunction with Gymboree Brent Cross. 

The North West London NCT is looking to set up a Dads' group in 2010, for dads who look after their children full or part time. If you'd be interested in meeting in a park for a play or helping to get the ball rolling, please check out our Get Involved page. 

Pregnant? 

Congratulations! As well as classes, the North West London NCT also runs social events, so you can meet new people before your baby arrives!

• NCT Antenatal Class Bookings and Information: browse our courses page, click on the course nearest your due date and location and fill in the enquiry form to register interest. Courses are very popular so early booking is recommended e.g after your 12 week scan. It can take up to two weeks to confirm courses depending on how close your due date is (you will normally hear after 1 week but in August and December it may take longer).

• Meet up with other parents-to-be: we hold monthly evening socials in NW3 and NW6. Please check our events page for details of upcoming dates. We also hold three Bumps and Babies groups (NW3 Thursdays 10am-12pm,  NW4 Thursdays 1-2pm, NW6 Fridays 12.30-2.30pm).  All details are on the events page.
• Home Birth Contact: Kate Clarke nwncthomebirth@yahoo.co.uk. Runs a home birth support group for those interested in finding out more or sharing their experiences, meeting once a month, Mondays (am). Full details on events page.
• Facebook group: social networking for parents-to-be (and new parents too) in North West London. Facebook group.

Congratulations!  

• Bumps and Babies groups in NW3, NW4 and NW6 welcome parents with babies up to about 9 months. 
• If you would like a  Bumps and Babies group nearer to where you live, please consider volunteering to help set up a new group. If you'd like to help get is started please contact Anna, the branch co-ordinator.
• We run postnatal groups by postcode, open to all, members and non-members alike. These groups are set up every 6-8 weeks, then run independently of the NCT. Please see the list below for your local postnatal co-ordinator. If you cannot see contact details for your area please email chairnctnw@yahoo.co.uk with your postcode, contact details and your baby's due date or birth date.
• For breastfeeding support please see our breastfeeding page listing local drop-in clinics, baby cafes and the contact details for the branch NCT breastfeeding counsellors. 
• Facebook group: Find other new parents in North West London. Facebook group.
• All parents are welcome at our groups and social events, whatever their birth experiences, feeding choices or parenting styles.

All branch activities are run by volunteers. The branch team meets every two months. Full details of upcoming meetings can be found on the events page. Anyone is welcome to attend a meeting. Please note that all are volunteers, most with young children and some with full-time jobs.
