A comprehensive course for expectant parents covering all aspects of pregnancy, birth and early parenthood.
Please book early, as soon as you can after your 12 week scan.
Each course is tailored to the class's individual needs. Subjects covered generally include- pregnancy and birth choices, choosing where to have your baby, body awareness, relaxation, breathing and massage, home births and water births, what happens in labour and how the baby is born, pain relief- natural and medical methods, your labour and the role of your partner in labour, what complications might arise- caesarean births for example, looking after and feeding your newborn baby and early parenting and lifestlye change.

A comprehensive course for expectant parents covering all aspects of pregnancy, labour, birth and early parenting. Classes are held on Thursdays from 10am until 2pm, in Dorridge, Solihull, with a session on Sunday in Knowle. In addition to these sessions there is a 2 hour evening Brestfeeding session. Partners are welcome to attend all of the classes too and, where possible I would recommend they try and attend the first session of the course with you. This is not however necessary. Please complete the on line "Express an interest" form if you would like to enquire about availability or reserve a place on a suitable course.
It may be useful to know that expectant Mums are legally entitled to time off work to attend Antenatal Classes.

Held in Solihull & Dorridge, this course will reflect on your previous labour and birth experience and help you prepare for a new addition to your family. It will cover labour, pain relief and how to consider introducing your new baby in to your exisitng family.
We can also cover VBAC (Vaginal Birth after Caesarean) if appropriate.

- NCT Twins & Multiples Add On Session- C381- Dorridge- July- September Due Dates

A 3 hour session from 10am until 1pm on Tuesday 25/5 for those expecting twins or multiples in Dorridge. This session is designed to be attended in addition to a Standard NCT Antenatal Course so please reserve yourselves a place on a standard Antenatal Course as well.
