We are very excited to be able to provide new Postnatal Early Days courses in your branch. Well established and respected throughout the UK these courses are now being facilitated by Claire Maguire. Antenatal course – Chiswick & Hammersmith – WS79 – Late March / April babies Two day couples course for parents in Chiswick, Shepherds Bush, Hammersmith and Acton. Hammersmith - C319 antenatal weekend course - May babies

Click course link for session dates. The course comprises all aspects of childbirth (what happens and why, options for place of birth, pain relief choices etc.); planning for early parenthood; practical baby care and feeding. Sessions take place in an informal and relaxed environment

A 12 hour course across 6 weekday daytime sessions for after baby is born.

**NEW programme for 2010** - REFRESHER Course - C325 - Chiswick - June to mid July due dates

A 12 hour course that is principally for women only with one couples evening included. This course is for second time plus parents only. It includes breastfeeding and a reunion after the births.

Each course is flexible and tailored to the class’s individual needs, and we aim to cover many aspects including: Pregnancy and birth choices, Choosing where to have your baby, Body awareness, breathing and massage, Home births What happens in labour and how the baby is born, Pain relief, natural and medical methods of pain relief are covered, Your labour and the role of the partner in labour, What complications might happen - caesarean births for example, Looking after and feeding your new born baby, Early parenting, lifestyle change.
