Volunteer your time

Volunteers, parents and expectant parents just like you, run our branch. You don’t need to take on huge tasks, just commit whatever time you can or your previous experience and skills. It is a great way to learn new skills, make new friends, and represent the NCT. Get in touch with us and get involved.

We have an amazingly strong and vibrant group of volunteers in the branch, but we are always looking for more people to get involved.

Branch Magazine Distribution Coordinator

Getting the magazine out to all these households is no mean feat. We have a brilliant team of people who hand-deliver all the copies, but need someone to coordinate and manage receiving the magazines from the printer, sorting them according to where they're going, addressing them and getting them delivered. NCT Branch Webmaster

A great opportunity to get involved communicating the work of the branch to the wider audience via the web. This role requires someone with the ability to write clearly for different audiences, edit copy provided by others and upload information in a timely manner. Time Commitment 2 hours every week.

Specific Duties

Using the Content Management System update the branch web pages to ensure they are accurate at all times. Including entering events in a timely fashion onto the branch website, occasionally uploading courses to the branch website, using pictures to make branch web pages more interesting, creating a directory of services in the local area for parents and liaising with the advertising coordinator regarding companies who may wish to purchase advertising space on the branch site as appropriate.
