Forthcoming Conferences

We are pleased to announce the following forthcoming events being hosted by NCT or other organisations:

 

Uncertainty and loss in maternity and neonatal care

Date: 16th September 2010

Venue: Brunei Gallery, SOAS, London

Details: After the first successful joint conference held in 2009, this year sees the next in this series of one-day programmes. These are aimed at meeting the needs of health practitioners who work in maternity and neonatal services and who care for parents who are coping with bereavement or neonatal illness. The 2010 programme will continue to examine in detail, a variety of issues that face both parents and health practitioners.  See flyer at the bottom of this page.

The 4th National ARM Conference "Building Bridges: Moving Mountains"

Date: 16th October 2010

Venue: Yarnfield Park, Near Stone, Staffordshire

RCM Annual Conference 2010 - Maternity Serivces in a changing world

Date: 16th & 17th November 2010

Venue: Manchester Central Convention Complex

Details:  The Royal College of Midwives annual conference and exhibition is the premier event where those working in midwifery and with mothers and babies come together, to learn about, debate and discuss the key challenges and opportunities midwives face as a profession.

Unicef BFI Annual Conference 2010

Date: 8th & 9th December 2010

Venue: Harrogate International Centre

Details:  Since its inception in 1998, the UNICEF UK Baby Friendly Initiative’s Annual Conference has grown both in stature and in reputation. Now the UK’s highest profile event covering infant feeding issues, the Conference:

  • addresses practice issues of crucial importance to health professionals and
  • commissioners of health care.
  • features internationally-recognised speakers.
  • is expected to attract more than 750 highly committed health professionals.
